Dolphins usually migrate in pods or a group of dolphins. They go long distances and their speed ranges from 3 to 7 miles per hour.
Where do they migrate to?
The dolphins don't have a migration destination where they go every year. They just go south the warm waters.
They usually migrate when the water temperature drops which is winter. That's because they prefer 50 degrees-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Usually, they migrate because of water temperature and food. Which means that they follow the fish to wherever they go on their migration route.
FACT:
Dolphins eat little fish like me. Which is a squid, mullet, herring,or other fishies. They also eat a lot, can't get enough, but it depends on how big they are. That's why I as a fish myself dislike big dolphins.
