- Mathematical signs, including sine, cosine, and tangent, were created and recognized by mathematicians.

- Rulers invented as a way to measure things, more formal measurement terms eventually followed.

-In general, air quality has deteriorated to unacceptable levels in many Asian cities and disposal of wastes has become a major problem

-Urban waste management (or lack of it) is a serious problem throughout India.

- Globes were created, which mapped out the world's geography in a newfound way.

-Because Central Asia is not buffered by a large body of water, temperature fluctuations are severe, outside the sunny, hot summer months. In most areas the climate is dry and continental, with hot summers and cool to cold winters, with occasional snowfall. Outside high-elevation areas, the climate is mostly semi-arid to arid.

-Cotton Gin was created, along with Ink, which could eventually be used in order to write. Both of these products had relationships with nature in some way.

-1947: Partition of British India freed India from British rule and split the country into modern India and Pakistan

-Battle of Plassey loss gives East India Company power over Bengal and expands the British power over South India

-This time has some of India's best art and classical improvement, and the increase in spiritual and philosophical systems (Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism)

-The crestograph was created, which was a device that measured the growth of different types of plants. Here, we see a shift as scientists try to uncover real information about nature.

-Nomadic tribes settled along the coastline, formed agrarian societies and used shells as currency

-The annual mean temperature in India has increased by 1.2 degrees Celsius since the beginning of the 20th century
