How the mood intimidation is in To Kill a Mockingbird. By Joseph Flores

One scene is on page 218 where Bob Ewell spits on Atticus. Atticus is confronted by Bob Ewell after the case trial and gets spit on. This is intimidation because we know that Bob Ewell is still not happy and has a grudge on Atticus for siding with Tom Robinson.

The second scene which is on page 241 is about when Tom Robinson is dead and Bob Ewell is heard saying the phrase "One down and about two to go." This scene has to do with intimidation because this intimidates the reader saying that Bob Ewell is going after two other people besides Tom Robinson.

The third scene where Intimidation is present on pages 260-262, is when Scout and Jem are attacked by Bob Ewell. They are attacked coming home from a play. They were being stalked and then they were attacked. This scene show intimidation because Bob Ewell is still not over the case and he goes all the way hurt Jem and Scout to get back a Atticus.

The fourth scene is on page 248. This scene is when Judge Taylor is in his house alone reading the writings of Bob Taylor. He was alone because Judge Taylor's wife went to church on late Sundays. Then the screen door opened and and Judge Taylor assumed it was Bob Ewell. This scene shows intimidation because if the person in the dark was Bob Ewell, the reader knows that Bob is going after everyone who sided with Tom Robinson.

The fifth scene in the book that had intimidation was on page 53. In this scene Dill, Jem, and Scout decide to go to the Radley Place and see it they could see Boo. When they get to the back porch Jem and Scout help Dill up to look through a window when Scout sees and man(Mr. Radley) with a shotgun. This shows intimidation because the reader and the kids don't know if they will live another day because of the man and the shotgun.

This scene on page 459 was the scene where Bob Ewell follows Helen down the public road to Mr.Link Deas place. Even when Mr. Link Deas yelled into the Ewell property saying to stay away from Helen, Mr Ewell still didn't listen to him. This shows intimidation because we don't know if Mr. Ewell is going to try to hurt Helen because she is Toms wife.
