EGP Environmental Policy
The current environmental policy has 7 aims
3) EGP will activiely encourage its volunteers to 'carbon compensate' for their flights to project
1) EGP recognises that social and economic development should not take place at the expense of the environment
4) A discussion will be held in training to ensure volunteers have considered the environmental impacts of their projects
2) EGP recognises that its projects could have severe detriental enivonmental impacts
6) EGP groups will be actively encouraged to consider their impacts whilst on project, and to modify their behaviour as far as possible to reduce their impact
7) Groups will be required to report back on feedback day of the possible environmental impacts of their projects, and how they attempted to reduce them
5) EGP groups will be provided with a list of suggestions of how they can reduce the environmental impacts of their projects
