The symbol i have for this book is a football. Football is what a lot of this book is about because one of the main characters Ashtyn is the Kicker for her high school team. Football is her life. In the book she goes to a football camp called Elite in the story. At that camp she finds out that Derek was a star quarterback that attended this camp and he never told her.
" Never give up on something that you work so hard for". Because in this book Derek tries so hard to push Ashtyn away but cant keep her out of his mind. And Ashtyn tries so hard to put up this front that she hates Derek but she cant hide her true feelings forever. they will try so hard to hate each other but they cant mask there true feelings.

The archetype i chose for this book was Duality because the characters in my book have an ongoing struggle with my other characters. Between the constant drama. They are always fighting. They can never agree so the good and the evil clash all of the time in my story.
Every thing changed that summer for seventeen year old Derek Fitzpatrick when he gets kicked out of his private school in California. Derek has to move in with his new step mom Brandi and her father, son, and younger sister. He slowly finds him self falling for Brandi's younger sister Ashtyn she is also seventeen years old. But as the summer goes on Ashtyn is also secretly falling for Derek to.
The setting of this book mostly takes place in the city of Fremont it is a suburb of Chicago. Derek is Mostly at Brandi's dad's along with her son and Ashtyn.
