SImilarities between Anger and Disappointment

  • Very concerned about the morale after a defeat

  • Speaking with a purpose

  • Upset about the fallout of each event

  • Immediate attention is recognized

  • Both were serious and passionate at the same time

In this scene Billy passes by the locker room after a disappointing loss. He hears music and it sounds like they are celebrating. So he goes back to the locker room and he deals with his team and shows them what losing actually sounds like. He will also deal with anything blocking him from the path to success with this team.

Thank You for listening to my presentation

Moneyball

Moneyball is a book based on the season of the Oakland Athletics during 2002-03. Mainly in the perspective of their manager that year, and still current manager, Billy Beane, the book represents the struggle of how a manager, with a limited budget, can build a top contending team with good fundamentals and new ways of thinking, that before were looked down upon. As well how they use imagery to show how players are portrayed as shown in this video

Billy's Speech is very similar to the Declaration of War in accordance to WW2 recited by Franklin Delano Roosevelt after the events of the attack on Pearl Harbour.
