The Installation and Configuration Technical Manual is specially designed for HIOS team. HeiTech Internal Operation Services (HIOS) team are the responsible team to handle the HeiTech notebook consolidation project for all the HeiTech Padu Staff. HIOS team are required to prepare and configure all the notebook available to be loan to the HTP staff.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This technical manual on installation and configuration on notebook begins from 5th March 2015, a month after trainee start the internship at HeiTech Padu Berhad.

The technical manual is basically important for the HIOS team as it will help them to assist the staff especially the new one and even trainees.

  • Lack of staff recommended to hire more staff due to loads of work
  • More subjects in practical to increase skills and knowledge in the campus for students
  • Excessive multitasking work will decrease job qualities of staff. Recommended to hire more staff

Personal Thoughts:

  • HeiTech Padu Berhad is a good place to do industrial training
  • Internship will expose trainee in real working environment

Opinions:

  • Students can be more prepared in industries if there are more practical subject than theory
  • Organization should let more quotas for interns to be place

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • The Basic Desktop Installation and Configuration Technical Manual will be implement by the HIOS team in the future. This is because, the manual is expected to assist the new staff and trainees that will joining the HIOS team.

  • Trainee also has already send a copy to user through email to test the effectiveness of the manual.

  • The figures and steps can be the guide for users to handle any notebook error on their own.

  • The manual will be used by the staff of HTP especially HIOS team to attending user.
  • Outcome from this project is that at the end of the project a proper documentation of technical manual will be fully developed by the trainee.

  • Project will meet its objective, tested and ready to be distributed to the HIOS team.
