Definition
An argument whose conclusion implies that
a class has at least one member, but whose
premises do not so imply.
Two universal premises (All...) arrive at one particular conclusion (some...).
Original Example
All Jazz is music.
All music is art.
Therefore, some Jazz is art.
All Sith are evil.
All evil comes from the Dark Side.
Therefore, some Sith are from the Dark Side.
Professional Example
The Formula:
All A are C.
All B are A.
Therefore, some B are C.
