CY Young was born on March 29, 1857. He started as a pitcher for the Cleveland Spiders a miner league team . His nickname was the cyclone. Then he signed with the Boston americans from 1901-08. He was traded to the Cleveland nap from 1909 to 1910. in 1911 he through his last pitch of his career. He made it to the national baseball hall of fame. He died on November 4, 1953.
