Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook School shooter, one day came into the school and shot twenty kids and six adults. He had experience with shooting from his mother and multiple guns in his house. If he didn't have the right to bear arms, that shooting, and many others probably wouldn't have occurred.
The right to bear arms means that U.S. citizens have the right to own arms in defense. This amendment was passed on December 15, 1791.
The whole second amendment states that "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." shall be repealed. U.S. citizens should not have the right to bear arms. The police and military have the right to, but only for military use and protection.
