How to form a negative tu command with reflexive verb

Negative Tu Commands with Reflexive Verbs

When forming a negative command, each statement will need to start off with "No"

Continued...

Take the verb you're conjugating, and put it in the negative form:

If we have the verb, Ducharse, instead of putting it in the -ar ending, we're going to put it in the -er tu ending

1. Ducharse > Duches

In the positive tu command with reflexive verb form, you would end the conjugated verb with -te.

In this case, we're going to put the reflexive verb ending -te in front of the verb.

Examples:

No te duches

(Don't take a shower)

Anna Dombroski & Maryam Aqdas
