- Laws are not meant to control, they are guides
- We should trust the Commonwealth and not be slaves to the Legislature
- If a child hits his parents, he will be punished (hands cut of)
- There are laws of justice (if you hurt someone, you are equally punished)
- Human rights are not to be violated by the government
- There should be no bias according to race, colour or social standing
- Every human being is entitled to a common standard of achievement
- We should be respectful of each other and not see ourselves above one another

- You are free to do whatever you want as long as it doesn't interfere with others' rights
