The Sublittoral zone extends from low tide to 200 meters or 660 feet on average. It may vary from 150 meters to 300 meters in depth as well.
There are 28 species of clown fish. These animals have adapted to its environment by having bright stripes of color ranging from yellow to orange to maroon. Fun fact: the closes species to Nemo is the Percula Clown Fish. See the similarity!

Sea anemones have venom-filled tentacles that they use to catch their prey. They have adapted in that way.

Coral is one of the main living things in the Sublittoral zone. 1/4 of the worlds fish species use Coral and Coral Reefs for food and shelter. This is surprising considering the fact that it only covers 1% of the earth's surface.

Red, Yellow (half way down),Green, and Blue down penetrate this zone, but pure violet doesn't.
Different types of oysters, star fish, sea urchins, coral, crabs, and anemones live in the sublittoral zone. They are provided with sunlight and food, but there are also many predators.
