MBR WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
Membrane technology for highly efficient waste treatment
- Sustainable growth depends upon reliable and adequate supplies of water
- WATER CONSERVATION:
- Adopting NET ZERO WATER strategies
- Using HIGH WATER SAVINGS FIXTURES & FITTINGS to reduce water demand by additional 5-10%
- Promote WASTEWATER REUSE, thus reduce the amount of wastewater generated and minimize the transfer to Karachi treatment plant
Three sources of water will be used :
- Municipal water:
- main water source for drinking purpose due to its cost effective solution
- on-site Water Treatment Plant is required to meet WHO standard.
required Wastewater Treatment Plant with advance treatment technology for non-potable purposes.
- Groundwater:
- considered only as back-up or supplement source if other sources are not available
- requires Groundwater Treatment Plant with Reverse Osmosis technology for water treatment
