~ Like government officials priests were powerful and highly respected in the Egyptian Society.

~ The egyptian society was structured like a pyramid because there were many dfferent classes like the Pharaohs, Government Officials, Priests, Scribes, Artisans, and Peasants. They all have different types of things to do

~ The artisans were highly skilled they were laborers who created some of the most beautiful art objects.

~ Peasants were generally considered unskilled laborers.

~ They were the largest class in Egypt's social pyramid.

~ The scribes job was the official writters and record keepers.

~ They wanted the boys scribes to go to school.

~ Their job was to assist the pharaoh in his or hers role as supreme ruler of egypt.

~ They were one of the highest classes of egypt.
