1. Go to Teach Map NWEA site

2. Click view reports and instructional resources > MAP reports > Achievement Status and Growth Report

3. Select term

4. Choose options

5. Click Create Report

Student Goal Setting Report

How can I retrieve my Class Breakdown Report?

1. Go to Teach Map NWEA site

2. Click view reports and instructional resources > MAP reports > class breakdown reports

3. Choose a term > class

4. Choose option (RIT, goal, projected proficiency)

5. Click Create Report

#3 Achievement Status and Growth (ASG) Report

Purpose: growth projections for each student

Ways to use my Classroom Breakdown Report

Learning Continuum

  • Flexible grouping for instruction

  • Focusing instruction

  • Progress monitoring

  • Advancing outlier students

  • Resource for targeting and individualizing instruction

  • But, not a curriculum

There are 3 columns:

Enhance Column: Majority of students mastered these skills

Develop Column: Skills that should be taught at the present time

Introduce Column: New skills that should be introduced as students begin mastering skills listed in the develop column

Get a visual picture of the students in the class

Recognize outliers

Determine strengths and areas of concern

Identify groups for flexible grouping

Link to Learning Continuum

Identify students by projected proficiency for state assessment

How can I retrieve my Class Report?

1. Go to MAP site and log in

2. Click View reports and instructional resources > MAP Reports > Class Reports

3. Select term > subject > options (choose goal descriptors-HML)

4. Create Report

Observe the range of RIT scores

Identify strengths and areas of concern

Consider Standard Deviation when planning

Use Lexile measures to find appropriate reading materials

Compare Class performance to NWEA norms

Teacher/Class Report

Purpose: To view student and class performance based on RIT score and ranges
