  • accept everything that happening in life because they all happens for a reason and be fixed by the law of nature

In the greek and Roman periods following Aristotle , there were four main school of philosophy

  • Epicureans
  • Stoics
  • Skeptics,
  • Neoplatinists

The stoic and Epicurean idea were focused around knowledge of nature as being crucial to living and being adapted to one's proper role within the cosmos

Those that, though natural, need not necessarily be satisfied for a pleasant life .

  • sexual gratification

Those that are neither natural nor necessary

  • desire for wealth or fame
