Early history

  • Finnish culture wasn't as high as cultures in Central Europe.
  • Architecture is the most important art of this time.
  • In stone age Finnish people made rock paintings and stone sculptures

  • In bronze age people used bronze to make jewelry and weapons
  • They also made glass paintings, woodcarvings and handcraft for churces
  • From iron age there are many preserved* metal jewels and vessels, decorated weapons and wooden items.
