God has brought us into his family. As a most excellent father concerned for his children, he gives us food to nourish us. Therefore through his son, He gives us the bread and wine, the lifegiving body and blood of Christ.
But this spiritual food is turned into deadly poison for those who parkake unworthily, casting them down to greater ruin...I will not give the bread and wine to anyone to whom the church has forbidden it, and woe to any who tries to take it by force. You may break these arms, and you may take my life, but you will never force me to defile the table of the Lord.
