Creationism vs. Evolutionism

Why Does It Matter?

It matters because there are already huge debates going on about which theory is right and so if these theories continue, this debate will escalate into a more serious rivalry. There may even be murders of innocent people just because they stood up for what they believed was right.

What are the Different Types of Evolutionism?

Should Teachers Teach Creationism?

  • Cosmic Evolution
  • Stellar Evolution
  • Planetary Evolution
  • Organic Evolution
  • Macro Evolution
  • Micro Evolution

Should Teachers Teach Creationism?

Because there are so many theories of evolutionism, it really is a debate

within itself.

My Stance

No they shouldn't because if there were

enough believers in creationism, our country

may become divided because of these different

beliefs. Possibly travel to states with different beliefs would not be allowed and economic changes and shortages in resources that some states cannot produce on their own.

No teachers shouldn't. This is because if a person feels strongly about a topic, their words may become biased when teaching. That will create different beliefs within families; a rift so to speak.

I believe in evolutionism and that teachers shouldn't teach creationism. Evolutionism is the most scientific theory out there to prove how we got here. Creationism is just a perception or an assumption as to why we got here. That is why teachers shouldn't teach creationism.

What is evolutionism?

Created By: Nikita Manoj

Evolutionism is the theory that all life evolved from one common ancestor and every complex being evolved from a simpler life form. Because all living things share one common ancestor, generally speaking everything on earth is related.

What is Creationism?

Is it religious?

Generally, creationism is religious, because no one can agree on one God that supposedly exists. Others believe that a God that differs from all religious portrayals created the universe, meaning those creationists are not religiously biased about the idea.

Creationism is the theory that a divine being created all aspects of the universe with 1 thought.

Should Teachers Be Allowed To Teach Creationism ?

What religion has the most creationists?

Typically, creationists are most commonly found amongst the Christians and Muslims. This is just statistically speaking, other religions may also have believers of creationism as well.

No, teachers should not be allowed to teach creationism at schools. So far, only Tennessee gives the right to their teachers to teach creationism. No other state or city has allowed their teachers to teach this idea inside of their schools.

Conclusion

My conclusion is that teachers should not teach creationism in schools, because it is kind of religious so it may not be acceptable for some kids and the school's reputation may be diminished by unacceptable teachings.

Why are There Two Categories of Evolutionists?

Theistic Evolutionists reached a theory where creationists and evolutionists' theories are combined. Atheistic Evolutionists believe in pure scientific evolutionism, not a mixture of theories.

Reflection

When I look back on all of my research, I feel like creationism shouldn't be shunned, but also shouldn't be taught in schools. People can teach it to their kids at home but not at schools.
