In the end, the gas in the planetary disc (including the left- over dust and rocks) formed the bigger gas planets. Thats the story of how the Solar System was created!

Most of the cloud formed the Sun, other parts spread out around the Sun creating a planetary disc! Eventually, the rocks and dust in the planetary disc clashed and formed the terrestial planets.

THE NEBULAR HYPOTHESIS

ACCRODING TO THE NEBULAR HYPOTHESIS, OUR SOLAR SYSTEM WAS CREATED 4.6 BILLION YEARS AGO. THIS WAS WHEN A PART OF A MOLECULAR CLOUD OF INSTELLAR GAS, (MADE UP OF DUST,ROCKS AND OTHER SUFF.) COLLASPED FROM SOME KIND OF TURBULANCE THAT CAUSED IT TO HEAT UP AND EVENTUALLY TURN INTO A STAR.-(WHICH IS OUR SUN)

Uranus

Uranus is very cold. It's 2,877,000,000 ks from the sun!! Uranus was dicovered on the 13th of March 1781 it is also the 7th planet from the sun. It's radius is 25,362.

Saturn

Saturn is named after the god of aguculture. It is known for it large rings. Saturn is the second largest planet in our Solar System. This gas giant is made out of hydrogen and helium and scientists believe, that if you put saturn in water, it will float. This is because hydrogen and helium , are two of the most lightest gases in our universe!!!!

Jupiter, the biggest planet in our Solar System. Scientists named Jupiter after the king of the gods/planets. Jupiter is 1300 times bigger than Earth. Jupiter is the fastest planet to rotate on its axis with a day of only 10 hours!

The surface of Mars is mainly made out of red rocks and dust.The avarage tempreture is 15 degrees. Mars has a very thin amophere.Its air contains carbon dioxide, wind and dust. Somtimes there can be very big clouds of dust, scientists belive there was once water on this red planet.

Earth

Earth, our planet third from the Sun, is just far enough away to have life on it. Formed roughly 3.54 billion years ago, and formed life 1 billion years later.........Earth, also is the fifth largest planet in our Solar System.

As the second planet from the Sun, Venus has unbeliveably hot weather. Venus is one of the four terrestial planets that meaning it is like Earth. Rocky surfacing, dense gravity,etc. In size and mass it also simalar to Earth, making some people call Earth and Venus ''twins''.

The smallest and closest planet to the Sun. It's surface is made out of huge craters, rocks and dust. Mecury is also really hot, but its core is really cold. Mercury orbits the Sun like every other planet.
