The founders of MCDonaldd's are Richard James ''Dick'' and his brother Maurice James ''Mac''. They were culinary innovators and entrepreneurs, who were profoundly important in the emergence of fast food. The MCDonald brothers established the first MCDonald's restaurant in 1940, on the corner of 1930 North E. Street and west 14 Street in San Bernardino, California.
