Evaporation
Evaporation is the changing of water from a liquid to a gas. In a nutshell for all you people who want to make it simple, it is just water changing into vapor.
Condinsation
Condensation is when the evaporated water all gathers to form the state of clouds, or condensation. When it gets HEAVY with droplets, it precipitates!
precipitation
Precipitation is the changing of a gas back into a liquid, therefore causing what we know as rain, snow, sleet, hail, and anything else that gathers and falls from the sky thats all wet!
Run Off
Run Off is basically precipitation that runs off from the landscape, and eventually finds it's way back to a body of water.
Ground Water
Ground water is the precipitation that seeps through the ground from run off. Basically, again for the people who want to make is SIMPLE, water that is held underground. Example: When you walk out into the grass in the aftermath of a storm, you will find that even the most dry of ground is wet, inside and out.
And don't forget what makes the water cycle even possible.......
