Okonkwo's favorite child. He often wished she were a boy. She starts out as a ogbanje, or repeatedly cursed child. She overcomes it with the help of Chielo, a preistess for the Earth.
Okonkwo's adopted son. Is a very hard worker and Nwoye's role model. Is killed by Okonkwo as a sacrifice to the Earth.
