3-Days Youth Camp Proposal

Health and Safety Issues:

• Risk Assessment for River Activity.

• Basic Medication for flu, headaches, food poisoning, skin allergy, and insect bites.

Follow-up Plan:

Give the youth more leadership roles and opportunity in the youth ministry and in Church. Mentors will keep in contact and continue to guide them as they serve.

Pre-Camp for Mentors and Leaders: 4th January 2020 (4 meetings in year 2018)

Promotion Plans:

• Set up posters and announce in Sunday service.

• Approach all final year high school students.

• Open up registration by May 2019.

• Early Bird Fees when register by 31 December 2019.

Camp size: 10 Participants + 16 Personnel

Age Group: 18 years old (Secondary/high School Graduates)

Camp Purpose:

To provide leadership training to youths who are moving from adolescence to late adolescence (young adulthood) so that they can start taking up leadership roles in the Youth Ministry and Church.

Program Goals and Objective:

• To train youths to be effective leaders by letting them learn how to organise and facilitate a youth event or program.

• To train youths to be attractive leaders by letting them learn how to plan and facilitate games and recreational activities.
