-December 1992, Forensics centre begins testing Paul's DNA; it is linked to the Scarborough rapist. He is put on 24-hour watch.

-Bernardo is arrested on the abuse of Karla Homolka but is later set free upon his own recognizance.

-Karla is given a plea bargain of 12 years for manslaughter in order for her testimony against Bernardo. She agrees and testifies.

-Bernardo is given a life sentence with possible parole after 25 years, yet was classified as a "Dangerous Offender" which makes it unlikely for him to seek parole.

-Good Friday weekend; French is leaving her church's parking lot when approached by Homolka, acting like the "dumb blonde."

-She is abducted; raped and given large amounts of alcohol during that "Holy" weekend. However, she does leave a shoe at the place where she was taken away.

-Paul's intent was to always kill French; she could identify her perpetrators.

-Cause of death: Strangulation. Her body was found in a ditch, naked.

-Victims were mainly teenage girls between the ages of 15 to 21

-75% of incidences were rapes and 25% were attempted rapes

during the time frame

-Rapes lasted from 30 min to almost over 2 hours

-Weapons were included during the assaults

-Most of the assaults were done in Scarborough but some were done in Mississauga, 40km southwest of Scarborough

-November 17, 1988, Paul is dubbed as the "Scarborough Rapist by the Toronto Metropolitan Police

-"Jane" is invited by Homolka for a 'girl's night out'; she had befriended the 15 year old.

-She was given alcohol laced with Halcion; passes out.

-She is taken to Bernardo's place where he vaginally and anally rapes her. She wakes up nauseated, not realizing she had been raped.

-She is invited once again, in August to stay the night and again drugged, yet stops breathing (like Tammy). She does regain consciousness and is alive.

Paul beats Karla with a flashlight, leaving her with "raccoon-like" eyes and several deep bruises on her head and body. She goes to work and co-workers call her parents. She is taken to St. Catherine's Hospital where she gives a full statement to Niagara Regional Police and states she is a "battered spouse." She presses charges on Bernardo and moves in with her parents in Brampton, Ontario.

-Karla taints spaghetti sauce with Valium; serves to Tammy

-Sleeping pills were laced in a Rum-and-Eggnog concoction and served. This knocked out Tammy out within minutes.

-Karla pours Halothene in a cloth and covers it over Tammy's face.

-Paul then starts raping Tammy while Karla watches and records on tape.

-Tammy chokes on her own vomit, dies of suffocation.

-Death was ruled as accidental according to Niagara Coroner

-Mahaffey comes home from a friend's funeral; she is home late. Paul is creeping up on her; she asks for a cigarette, follows Paul to his car and she is blindfolded and taken away.

-She is repeatedly raped in Port Dalhousie by both Karla and Paul, all while being recorded.

-Cause of death: Strangulation. Her body was chopped up, post mortem, put in cement blocks and dropped off in Lake Gibson
