"Rooftop" by; Paul Volponi
Addison was a role model for his little cousin Clay, until one day their families got into an argument and the two were separated for years. Years later Clay and Addison were reunited at a drug program for teens. The boys became close once again and took on everything together. If either one ever had a problem they'd be right there together to fix it. One day Addison had got into some money issues and was supposed to be paid by Clorox after he.d lost gambling. Clorox ran away and hadn't been seen for a couple days later when the two cousins saw him and chased him onto a rooftop and then lost him. A few moments later there was a complaint and police arrived on the scene of the rooftop where Addison and Clay where, Addison had been shot and killed by an officer. The officer mistakenly thought Addison was pulling out a gun from his jacket, it was his wallet. Now, Clay has to face the fact his cousin is dead. Clay ends up lying to the councilman about how Addison was pulling out his ID. Instead Addison was using it as a gun to scare Clorox. Will Clay come clean about his lie to get the officers out of trouble or will he let them get a more harsh punishment.

Recommendation
I would highly recommend this book to others. If you are a person who likes drama, suspense, and mystery then you should read this book. The only thing wrong this book had was that there were lots of drug use and inappropriate language so if your not in high school or older you probably should not read this book. I would indeed read another book by this author he has good work and lot he has a creative mind.
Addison : A teenager at Long Island City high school who stayed involved in drugs and violence, but wasn't a bad kid. Addison is also the cousin of Clay.
Clay : Younger cousin of Addison. Also a teenager in the same high school of Addison, he never sold drugs but he was involved with some substances.
Andre : Andre is like a Mentor in the Daytop program that Addison and Clay are both in he also is a person with authority in the Daytop facility
Clorox : Was a sophomore at LIC and was the skinniest kid but he had lots of respect from older kids in the high school for drugs and illegal things. Especially crashing into a cop.
