In Winter Sea Lions from California migrate to Pugent Sounds. Sea Lions in Washington and British Columbia migrate to Channel Islands.
The Sea Lion has many behavioral adaptations. Those are, they swim very well, are agile and can dive well, so they can escape predators and can easily catch prey. Sea Lions also sleep on their back floating on the water to keep cool.
Sea Lions also have many structural adaptations. For example, they have fluffy fur to keep warm. These creatures are also very flexible to move swiftly through the water.

The Sea Lions survival status is endangered, luckily sea lions are not critically endangered. This is because poachers illegally hunt and kill the Sea Lions.
Pups are born in June and born on land. Their mating season is August-April. A female has 1 pup a year. The pups are about 75 cm.

Sea lions live in an ocean habitat also in other variable places like California, and Galapagos Islands. This is not many places.
San Cristo ball island is helping Sea Lions by educating humans about their endangerment. They also install floating bases in the seas for the sea lions to rest and not be hit by boats.
Sea Lions sadly have many threats. Such as, Marine Iguanas, whales, Great Whites, Hammer Head Sharks, Blue Sharks, Lungworms and the bacterial infection Leptos Pilotes, which affects their livers and kidneys.
