China To Open A Car Vending Machine

In 2018, a vending machine made by China’s Alibaba Company will let you buy a car! In fact, it will be as easy as buying a can of Coca-Cola. The machine will hold about 60 cars and take 2 minutes from the order to be delivered. Though it sounds expensive, it will lower costs for car dealerships as they will be able to spend less on staff and storage.

It will be a little different than the normal buying process, as people will have to show their credit rating and give a deposit of about 10% before leaving with the car. A vending machine like this already exists in Singapore, where there are cars displayed in a vending machine that is over 15 stories tall. In the United States, there is a similar machine that sells used cars. The Chinese machine will only sell luxury cars.
