In the novel, Winnie did not drink the water from the spring and gain eternal life. Rewrite the ending of the story if she had she decided to live forever.

It had been 7 years and Winnie was now 17, which was great because now she remembered about the magic water and Jesse. Winnie took out the water at midnight and gulped it in one second. When Winnie drank the water from the spring she ran all the way to the tucks house at night to tell Jesse what had happened. When Jesse heard the amazing news they first hugged and then they ran away to a far away place where no one would find them. At first they had lots of fun but after a while they found themselves getting into trouble because outsiders were wondering who was in the house. The outsiders would knock on their door and wait outside for up to an hour hoping that they would come outside. Winnie and jesse got bored of all the knocking and snuck out the back door to tell the tucks what they had done. When they arrived at the tucks home no one was there except for a piece paper that said in Mae tucks writing that the constable had taken them to jail. This meant it was up to Winnie and Jesse to break them out. They rushed all the way to the jail house and climbed up a tree next to the building. Winnie and Jesse saw the tucks in the jailhouse and made a plan on how to save Jesse's family.The plan was for Jesse to steal the clothes in the closet and disguise himself as another constable. While Jesse would be distracting the other constables, Winnie would be freeing the Tucks. Winnie ran to the tucks and was really happy to see them and freed them. Mae thanked Winnie for what she had done but she was also pretty angry. they all safely snuck out and went back home with jesse and celebrated (but not that loud) and they lived happily ever after.
After eternal life from drinking from a magic spring the tuck family wanders about trying to live as comfortably as they can before everyone finds out there big secret.
