Was too big- Would like to have used

1/2- 3/4 of the wood instead of using

the entire length of the wood

Time was a determining factor- We would have liked to make our car rounder than it was.

Repainted several times due to dripping errors

Speed- 32 mph

Time- 1.524 seconds

Reaction Time- .146 seconds

Positives

Construct and design a CO2

car to have the fastest speed and have a pleasurable appearance.

Weight- 1.1 kilograms (1100 grams)

Dimensions Weight- 35.24 oz

We used a thick coat of paint to obtain a shiny appearance. Then by using a simple aerodynamic design and a choice of complementary colors, the car stood out and gave it an elegant and unique appearance.

Day 1- Drilled axle holes, cut rough frameworks,

and gave a rough sanding

Day 2- Sanded the entire day

Day 3- Spray painted the car

Day 4- Cut the wheel axles and added second

layer of paint

Day 5- Added wheels and finished painting

  • The car rolls smoothly
  • Has a small and light design, so the car will go faster

  • Extra drag due to straightedges- could use a rounder design
