The history of contemporary photography began in 1826 when Joseph- Nicéphore Niépce obtained the first camera photograph. The construction of the first pinhole cameras (so-called camera obscura) is ascribed to Ibn al-Hasaim. It took as much as 8 hours to make one copy.
Few years later it took only half of second. The new models of cameras were made and then came new lens. The development of photography made it possible for the science to flourish
The history of photography dates back to the X century. The first black box with the hole was used to watch the sun.
Karolina Szymik & Martyna Grygierzec
In order to make the first photo two elements were crucial: device which could create the view and the material that could preserve it.
Thanks to this fact photography became so common that everyone can try it.
The further evolution of photography lead to the first colour photo made by James Maxwell in 1861.
The contemporary photography is based both on photochemical methods (analogue photography) and on photoelectric effects (digital photography). A strong trend towards the digital photography is observed.
The most fundamental role in this type of photography is played by the image sensor. The first image sensor was constructed in 1969.
