Many people have changed how we live today, these people are the ones who have created things like Instagram and Facebook. They have changed how we live today because now we live online and we normally text people instead of talking to them face to face.
Ada Lovelace - Ada Lovelace's contributions to the field of computer science were not discovered until the 1950s. Her notes were reintroduced to the world by B.Y. Bowden, who republished them in Faster Than Thought: A Symposium on Digital Computing Machines in 1953. She came up with how to work a computer, she didn't invent it but came up with the first programing language.
Alan Turing - Alan Turing changed computing history by inventing the code breaking computer and by shorting the war by about 2 to 4 years.
Ada's life was full of ups and downs for example never meeting her father. However she did go on to doing great things in her life and getting a day named after her (11th of October). The Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
Alan Turing - Alan Turing was born on the 23rd of June 1912 and was a computer mathematician who helped Britain in the war by cracking the German enigma code. He died on the 7th of June 1954, after committing suicide due to cyanide poisoning.
Ada Lovelace - Ada Lovelace was born on the 10th of December 1815 and was the analyst, meta physician, and founder of scientific computing. She died on the 27th of November 1852.
Alan Turing's machine was used to crack the enigma code. In the film they worked out the enigma code by taking the morning message and putting it in the machine and that would help them work out the messages for the rest of the day till it changed.
Alan Turing was very successful in maths and computing therefor put himself up to try and crack the enigma code. The was he tried to crack the enigma code was by making a machine, meanwhile the others were trying to crack the code and got frustrated at him for not helping them, even through this machine was a good idea and did work it was going to cost a lots of money.
