Acrisius wanted but couldn't have a son, so he tried to make his beloved daughter have one.

This back fired when he learned that his grandson would kill him in the long run.

Silver lining:

The End...

The story shows how Zeus is apparently irresisteable and that godly affairs usually result in fear, pain, and death.

Other such characters such as Poseidon, Athena, Hermes, Perseus, Polydectys, and Dictys also contributed in various ways.

Acrisius then locked Danae in a tower and left her, this is where Zeus found her, and transformed into a gold shower.

Well, of only this mythos, there are a lot more of them.

The story went as such:

The story of Danae is a greek mythos on how Perseus was born into the world. Such characters as Zeus and Danae, as well as her father play a large role in the story and cause the events of the story to unfold.

When Danae washes ashore, she and Perseus live their lives under the protection of Dictys.

Zeus ends up impregnating Danae and the new born is named Perseus. This news is sent to Acrisius who sends Perseus and Danae adrift on the sea.

Polydictys didn't like Perseus, so he forced him to go out and slay the gorgan Madusa.

But with the power of Zeus and Poseidon, they make it ashore.

Greek Mythology

Like a baller, Perseus was able to slay Madusa with the help of Athena and Hermes.

With the head of Madusa, he froze the court within Seriphus to stone.
