Where: New York Hall of Science (in Queens)
What: Loads of fun, incredible inspiration, and the chance to see what we'll belearning here firsthand.
- AFSE is subsizing the cost of the tickets. Instead of of $21, they will be $10.
- This is not an official school field trip. This means that I can give you a ticket (with your $10) - you decide when to come, and how long to stay.
Basic Laptop Rules:
1. No headphones.
2. Only use the laptop assigned to you.
3. Carry the laptop by the base (not the screen).
4. On task - doing so is worth 5% of your overall grade on the assignment.
Design: Lesson Four
Do Now: 15 minutes. Pick up a Chromebook and complete the work on assignment 00.04_Identify the Audience. Work quietly and stay focused - this is our only chance to work on it in class.

Watch carefully, answering the questions on the worksheet as you watch.

Maker Faire Field Trip
Research the Maker Faire Program for Saturday September 26th. Find three presentations or workshops that you find interesting or think you would like to attend.
To do this assignment:
1. Pick up your Chromebook.
2. Go to the Tech & Design folder in your Google Drive and open "00.03_Maker Faire Research Assignment_Your Name".
3. Read the instructions carefully and answer all questions within.
