Human Factors #1:

Well overuse

Natural factor #3:

Earthquakes

Even though earth quakes don't happen very often in Canada, if it does up to 1 meter of water can drop. It can also cause ground water to become cloudy and impure.

Natural factor #2: Drought

Drought is caused by little or no rain over a long period of time. This can cause lakes and rivers to fall and the towns and cities that are experiencing a drought to restrict water use.

Well overuse is when there is a very dry summer or a little snow winter and people use there well to much. This can cause aquifers to run out

Human and Natural factors

How Human and Natural factors change the water table

Human factor #3

Export and water diversion

A huge amount of water (millions of liters) is put into bottled water each year from Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia. If this water is extracted and moved to other countries the water will not be returned.

Human factors #2: Farming and industries

If these farms and Industries use a lot of water. If they use this water and the release it back into the Lake/River they received it from. When it is released it is not very clean. It can also be less water than what was taken.

Natural factors #1:

Flooding

Flooding can happen because of many things such as Storms, heavy rain, ice jams, and sudden thaws in spring. It can also be caused by ''flash floods'' where there is concentrated rain which causes the flood.
