A seismologist is somebody who discover earthquakes.

Faults and earthquakes

Fault lines are long breaks in the rocks that makes up the ears crust. They are related to earthquakes because they both break/destroy something.

What causes a volcano to erupt

When thicker lava plunges it can cause pressure; when it gets high enough that a volcano can erupt.
