What are the 4 techniques a writer uses to develop characters?
- 1. Physical description- what they look like
- 2. Speech and action of the character- what the character says about themselves and what they do
- 3.Direct comment from the narrator- what the narrator says directly about the character
- 4. Speech and action of other characters- what other characters say about them or acts around them
