Effective or Controvesial?

During that period, I believe that many people in efforts to save our country decided that they have to conserve the food that they were using to help the troops. Comparable to today, people would most likely refuse to go to war and depart from their basic necessities to continue for efforts of the war.

Why would certain Americans not like this poster?

Some people may not like that effort to proceed with the war. proceeding would mean departing from their daily luxuries and necessities and not being sure things will go to normal after the war.
