Conclusion: My hypothesis was proved because

I said “if you drink soda, coffee, and tea, then your teeth will stain”. And according to the eggs, that was true. In this experiment, I learned that I should probably not drink so much coffee.

The independent variable is: The drinks(coffee, soda, tea)

The dependent variable is eggs. The reason we use eggs to represent

0our teeth is because eggs have an ingredient in them that our teeth have.

Step 10. Examine.

Look and see what egg had the most stains

on the surface of the egg and prove

or disprove your hypothesis.

What drinks more harshly stain your teeth?

You will be able to determine this by looking at

the eggs and calculating your data.

Analysis: My analysis was that soft drinks

really do harm your teeth.

The reason I was able to perform this project

was because of the ingredients in the eggs that

have the same ingredients in our teeth.

I was surprised at the fact that they

stain your teeth because I thought they did not.

Step 5.Then, pour your green tea into the cups.

Step 6. After all of your ingredients are poured into the cups, cover each with saran wrap to lock in the moisture.

Step 7.Label the top of the cups (saran wrap) with sharpie and label the drink that is in with the egg.

Step 8. Wait 3-4 days to see the outlook.

Step 9. Brush! Use your toothpaste and a toothbrush to brush the egg. Try and get most of the stains (if any), off of the surface of the egg.
