Austin Lyon went to Lees Summit West and the University of Central Missouri. He is currently an actor living in Los Angeles. He says, "I do indeed use quite a few of the skills I learned at Summit Tech on a weekly, if not daily basis. I just edited an audition tape this evening, for a movie that filmed in New York, using a lot of the same video editing skills I learned at STA."

Jon Quigg attended Raytown High School and STA in 2010. He went to college in Chicago and is currently a motion graphic designer at NewSpring Church. He works with a team of other mograph designers, filmmakers, and graphic designers to help make visual content for his church.

Jacob Barrett went to Grandview High School and attended STA in 2013. After high school he went to college and started working part time. He owns an LLC for his videography company, working daily on short films with a crew of 7 for Cinemortis.

Jacqueline Ayala attended STA in 2008 and is a graduate of Hickman Mills High School. She went to Columbia College Chicago and works in publishing and as a freelance photographer in Chicago.

Performing Arts

Brea June Love, STA Class of 2010, is an anchor and reporter for KOMU-TV, a NBC affiliate in Columbia, MO. She has anchored cut-ins during the Today show, KOMU 8’s first national segment, and the stations morning show as well as KOMU 8 News Today.

Visual Arts

Greg Janssen has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University. Janssen works on live video production crews as director, technical director, EVS Instant Replay, camera operator, video shading, and graphics. Janssen attended STA in 2010

Ronald “RJ” Kelly, a 2009 STA Graduate, is a world renowned drummer, musician and producer. He has performed with Miguel, Alicia Keys, and Kendrick Lamar to name a few. He has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show w/David Letterman and many more.

Josh Grinlinton, from Lone Jack High School, attended STA in 2009. He then went to Kansas City Art Institute and is currently a freelance artist.
