Sheltered instruction is an approach to teaching English language learners which integrates language and content instruction.
Dual goals of sheltered instruction are: to provide access to mainstream, grade-level content, and to promote the development of English language proficiency.
Story Time for Me:
This is a free library of stories that have animations, narration by professional actors, and word-by-word highlighting.
Learn English skills: British council sponsors the website. There are kids games. listening activities, reading games, and grammar games.
Interactive Whiteboards: The board can be an extension of the teacher's desktop. Teachers can post pictures of vocabulary words that the classroom is working on. This can be done individually or as a group
