White

The color white is a very important symbol throuhout Frozen. The color white represents peace and innocence. Anna (heroine) wanted peace throughout Arendelle all throughout the movie. For example in the beginning Anna wanted Elsa to come and play. Anna goes to find her sister and stop the ice storm in Arrendelle to restore peace. Peace was a huge key that took place in many scenes. Not only does white represent peace but also innocence. Anna not knowing of her sisters problems represents innocence throughout the movie.

Stage 2

Violet

The color Violet is used throughout the story. Elsa is always wearing a mixture of the color blue and purple in the story and toward the middle of the movie she builds her ice castle and it is also a blueish, violet color. The color is representing her new home and also her memories from the past.

Green

Anna crosses a threshold while she is in search for her sister during the ice (snow) storm. She now has to worry about survival, while being out alone. While facing these challenges, Anna develops a more mature attitude. Nature which is the ice and snow storm help Anna with her more mature perspective. Having to fend for her own, gives Anna more responsibility and more "adult like" roles.

Annas dress throughout the entire movie is green. Green symbolizes hope, sympathy and growth. This meaning relates to Anna in numerous ways. Anna had a lot of hope in her and her sisters relationship, no matter the circumstances. She also went through a lot of growth in her inner self along with her relationship with her sister. She had both internal external growth.

Stage 3

Stage 1

Anna is called to adventure when her sister turns on an ice storm, covering the kingdom in ice and snow. Anna knowing that Arendelle is dangerous due to all of the ice goes out in order to help her sister and the people in Arrendelle.

Anna our hero in the story was required to endure many tests of strength during the movie. Anna is completely shut off from Elsa completely because of her powers. Anna has no clue as to why her sister is no longer speaking to her or seeing her anymore. this continues all throughout their childhood and teenage years and reluctantly ends on corination day. The day that Annas test begins once more. Elsas powers become out of hand and results in an icy Arrendelle. Elsa rushes up the North mountain to build her ice castle. Anna is then left with the challenge of making her way up the mountain to find Elsa, settle things and bring her down the moutain safely. However, Anna first obstacle is to actually get herself up the moutain. This is a huge challenge for Anna, which she is unable to do by herself. On her way up she meets Kristoff and Olaf which act as guides for Anna. On their journey they encounter many obstacles . One of the main obstacles they encounter is wolves and the gigantic snow monster.

Ice/Snow

The ice and snow is used all throughout the story and is represented through Elsa and through the setting in the story. Arrendale is covered in ice/snow throughout the majority of the story so its symbolizing the coldness and bareness that came out of fear in Elsa's powers when she was arguing with Anna during her coronation ceremony in the beginning of movie and her powers were discovered by the people of Arrendale.

Stage 5

After Elsa understands her cure for her ice, she then thaws out frozen Arrendale and sets things right between the citizens, herself and her sister. The kingdom is then opened back up to all of the citizens of Arrendale. Anna and Elsa are then able to lead the people to live in happiness. Elsa is then able to use her powers in a good positive way rather then a negative harmful way.

Stage 4

In the movie, Anna has to descend into the moutain, in this part she must go through great trial in order to get herself up the mountain to find Elsa. Anna faces freezing water and having a pile of snow topple on top of her. She also faces a pack of wolves and an enourmaous snow monster. An internal change occurs when Annas heart is frozen accidentally by Elsa in her ice castle. This causes the entire journey to change and they are required to turn around and find a cure for Annas frozen heart.
