~Many people had bibles if they were Christians
~Torahs or prayer books were meant for Jews
When Christians had to pray in school, they had to read out loud to the class. On the other hand; Non-Christians were not allowed to pray out loud so they either stayed seated or were asked to leave the room

~In school everyone received a reading scroll on their own religion and were instructed to read one by one
~If you were not Christian then you could not read out loud- only along with the rest of the class, and sometimes Jewish children had to leave the room to pray the way they did

It didn't matter how old you were to pray, some were force to start praying at the age of three to four
