Kentucky was caught in the middle of the Civil War, after the settlements.

Daniel Boone

Daneil Boones, Judge Richard Henderson, and the Transylvania company settled in Fort Boonesborough. They settled there, because they wanted it to be the center of goverment. They knew people were going to build there.

James Harrod and thirty- one other men settled in Harrodsburg. They settled there, because Harrodsburg is seat of Kentucky County.

Kentucky became a state on June 1st, 1792.
