Overview

The performing arts business is made up of those directly involved in performance onstage, as well as those behind the scenes.

The unit will allow you to explore organisations and job roles within the industry, which will help you to consider opportunities available to you in the future.

You will learn practical material appropriate for auditions at HE and you will explore various progression routes

A lot of the work that you will do on this unit will involve research. It is a requirement by the examining body that all research sources are clearly acknowledged.

You must keep a note of any external sources you access, in order to gain information from. You may want to keep a record of these in the form of a spreadsheet or table.

This will enable you to reference sources within your written work and will help to prevent 'Plagiarism'.
