-the worm is benefitted by the algae because the algae provides food for the worm.
-the algae receives nitrogen and carbon dioxide from the worm. As the flatworm migrates, the algae receives sunlight.

- the flatworm absorbs the algae into its tissues,
causing it to turn green.
-During photosynthesis the algae feed both themselves and the worms. They even gather sunlight through the transparent worms' skin and recycle the worms' waste.
- The worms don't have mouths or digestive tracts, so they couldn't survive outside this relationship
