The Eleventh Plague trailer
The setting of the book takes place in the future where America is vast, abandoned after a brutal war. Two-thirds of the population died from a vicious strain of influenza; people call it the eleventh plague.
Technology
The theme of the book is survival and tragedy. In the beginning of the book it says that Steven's grandfather died, but soon later Steven's father slips into a coma from being chased by slavers ( a slaver is a group of people that kill people to what they want).

The technology in the book is pretty basic because the disease killed so many people that no one had time to come up with, but survival.

I can compare this book to the game Last of Us. The game is 20 years into the future where the army runs the people in the morningwhile zobies control the night and it is up to Joel to take a girl that change all of that.
The conflict is that Steven is surviving against slavers, nature, and the infection. When it comes to slavers he had to hid away from them
-Steven Quinn is 14. He was born after them war. He was one of some few survivors. When his dad slips into a coma, Steven meets a girl name Jenny and they into a crazy situation.
-Jenny Tan is 14. She is a girl that always get into trouble. She refuse to accept things as they are.
