Elizabeth Bennet's Timeline

The handsome Mr. Wickham comes to town. He becomes friends with Elizabeth and begins telling her lies about Darcy.

During Elizabeth's visit to Pemberley, Darcy arrives. Darcy introduces her to his sister. Elizabeth begins warming up to Darcy who is behaving very gentleman- like, and adores the beautiful grounds.

Jane's letter about Lydia's elopement arrives, and Elizabeth leaves for Longbourn and tells Darcy, who leaves for London in search of the couple. Mr. Gardiner writes to Mr. Bennet that Lydia and Wickham are to be married. The couple weds.

Mr. Collins arrives at Longbourn. After many attempts to court Elizabeth, he proposes to her. She refuses his hand.

Lady Catherine is outraged to hear that Mr. Darcy plans on marrying Elizabeth and visits Longbourn. Her trip is unsuccessful, as she fails to keep Elizabeth from promising not to take Darcy's hand if he offers.

Darcy gives Elizabeth a letter explaining his role in Bingley's and Wickham's affairs.

Darcy insults Elizabeth at the Meryton Ball. The couple meet for the first time, and mutually despise one another; each seeing the other as their unequal.

Elizabeth shares a passionate and dramatic dance with Darcy at the Netherfield ball. She tries to place his character.

Elizabeth goes to Netherfield to be with Jane. Chemistry stirs between

Darcy and Elizabeth.

Bingley and Darcy return to Netherfield. They pay the Bennet's a visit, and Bingley proposes to Jane.

Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, and she refuses. She tells him that he is the last man in the world whom she could ever marry. He says he is asking her to marry him despite her family, social standing, and his better judgement....ouch!

After a beautiful stroll, Darcy proposes to Elizabeth. She accepts him with great love and explains that her feelings are the opposite as the ones she had before.

Elizabeth and Darcy have a double wedding with Bingley and Jane, and live happily ever after.

Elizabeth visits Charlotte at Hunsford. She dines with Charlotte and Mr. Collins at Rosings Park, where she meets the wicked Lady Catherine who does not approve of her family.
