Introduction
I chose to do my independent study at Roseview Manor for many reasons. One of the reasons I chose to do this for my project is because I would like to peruse the career of nursing when I graduate. At Roseview Manor they gave me great opportunities to experience the idea of what it would feel like to become a nurse. Also another reason why I chose to do my project at Roseview is because I do my coop placement there and I have gained valuable relationships with many of the residents.
Volunteering at Roseview Manor was an amazing experience. I have learned so many new things that i did not know before. It felt good to go help the residents and also to go visit the residents because many of them do not have family anymore. It felt good to go visit them because it would always make their day. I will make sure to go visit in the near future every chance I have.

What i did for Roseview Manor is assisted the elderly and visited with the residents. The residents always enjoy seeing me and I enjoy seeing and visiting with them. I also helped residents accomplish many day to day tasks that they are unable to do by themselves.
